The Grolier Poetry Book Shop has been at the same location for more than 90 years but is still the center of the Cambridge poetry scene.
And according to this post from the Boston University News Service, it looks and feels much as it did when it was founded in 1927. Claiming to be the “oldest shop in America dedicated entirely to poetry” it houses some 15,000 titles “in a room no bigger than a small studio apartment.” Obviously loaded with charm and a quaint ambience, it is a shop well worth a visit by poetry and bookstore lovers alike.
