ATG Quirkies: The Evolution of Olympic Pictograms

by | Feb 23, 2018 | 0 comments

Drawing From The Past is a post that will be really appreciated by fans of the Olympics. Appearing on the Medium website it’s a post that features the pictograms being used at the  PyeongChang olympics to provide recognizable illustrations for each event. The post also highlights the “long, historic and storied past” of olympic pictograms from the seminal illustrations developed for the Munich 1972 games to those used for the current winter games in South Korea.

Check it out and see which ones you can readily identify.

(Thanks, as always, to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies)
