ATG Quirkies: “Password” Is #2 In the Top 25 Most Common Passwords

Here is some discouraging news for those folks who encourage the rest of us to be careful about computer security. It turns out that according to this post in Digital Reader passwords are both the most discussed security measure and the least secure.

Motherboard reports that a study of passwords leaked over the past year show that many users are recycling the same bad passwords they have been using for years and years.”  The article continues and lists the 25 worst offenders of 2017.

One suspects that it isn’t the first time on the list for many of them.
