Welcome to the blog for the 2017 Charleston Library Conference. Click here to view the main conference website. The conference theme is “What’s Past is Prologue”.
As in past years, the Registration desk is in the Conference Hotel, the Francis Marion, and a number of the sessions are there too.
All of the keynote and plenary sessions are in the beautiful Gaillard Center, about a 10 minute walk from the Francis Marion.
The conference began today with some pre-conference sessions, which continue tomorrow. Also occurring tomorrow is the Vendor Showcase (Exhibit Hall) in the Gaillard Center. One of the highlights of the conference is the always popular Conference Dinner which is on Wednesday evening starting at 7 PM at the South Carolina Aquarium.
I look forward to bringing you a sampling of the conference sessions and other events, so come back and check this blog frequently.
Enjoy the conference!
