ATG Quirkies: Test Your Archival Nomenclature

by | Nov 27, 2017 | 0 comments

Library lexicographers will love this article from the website.  It offers a word list compiled by Jer Thorp who was inspired to ask Twitter if anyone had favourite obscure and/or delightful library or archival words. Mr. Thorp takes the best replies and provides a short glossary of library and archival terms.

By the way Mr. Thorp comes by his interest in library and archival terms honestly. He is currently the Innovator-in-Residence at the Library of Congress as well as a software artist, writer, and educator living in Brooklyn.

(Thanks to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies.)
