Iowa State University Library is currently seeking a Project Archivist to oversee an NHPRC (National HistoricalPublications & Records Commission) funded project to migrate electronic finding aids. This position will perform activities to improve intellectual control over and access to Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) archival collections, and supervise a student assistant. Under general direction of the Collections Archivist, the NHPRC Project Archivist (Library Associate I) will migrate electronic finding aids into an EAD-compliant archives management system (CuadraSTAR’s SKCA) while working collaboratively with the archives team and drafting related policies and procedures.
