In hopes of adding a unique tourist attraction, a skiing resort near Lake Baikal, in Siberia, has just constructed a ‘ice library of dreams’. At least, that’s according to local tourism chief and ice librarian Maxim Khvostishkov. It seems that the folks at the Gora Sobolinaya (Sable Mountain) ski resort decided to create the “Ice Library of Dreams” by carving the hopes and wishes of the first 1000 people to submit them into massive blocks of ice forming “a translucent labyrinth that visitors can wander through and browse.”
But there’s a catch, the dreams of people from all over the world will melt away when the warm weather comes in April.
