According to this post on NPR Parallels website, some 20 researchers are hard at work in a small library in an old Bavarian palace in Munich. The focus of their attention is the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae, the comprehensive Latin dictionary that has been in the works since 1894.  But not to worry.  They’re already at work on the letter ‘N’ – after 122 years.

Expected publication date? 2050!

(Thanks, as always, to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies!)
