Talk about a novel look! This Bookshelf post highlights the Mohammed bin Rashid Library which will be built in Dubai in Al Jaddaf. So what’s the big deal? The building is planned “in the shape of an open book and is expected to open next year. It will hold more than 1.5 million volumes, 1 million audio books and 2 million e-books, making it the world’s largest electronic collection and the biggest library in the Arab world.”
The post also provides a link to the original article in The National which has some cool images of the future library.
