At least that’s psychologist Tom Stafford’s take on those pesky slips of the keyboard that have subverted many “a carefully crafted message.” According to Mr. Stafford, “the reason typos get through isn’t because we’re stupid or careless, it’s because what we’re doing is actually very smart, …. It’s a very high level task.”
