The Collection Development Librarian provides leadership and work related to the selection, processing, evaluation, and assessment of library resources; assists in the development and implementation of collection development policies and procedures; and perform liaison duties as assigned. This position is expected to work very closely with the Associate Dean, who has administrative oversight of collections, as well as to collaborate with other coordinators and subject liaison librarians. The Collection Development Librarian will also contribute to the profession through professional service and scholarly activities, and will participate in faculty governance activities within the Library and University.
