Eastern Illinois University’s Booth Library is seeking a Head of Library Technology Services.  This position is a 12-month faculty appointment and will be tenure-track or non-tenure-track depending on qualifications.

The Coordinator of Library Instruction is responsible for all aspects of Kimbel Library’s information literacy program. Providing leadership and vision, the coordinator works with information literacy librarians and faculty to integrate information literacy into the curriculum. The coordinator is responsible for developing new opportunities for library instruction by working collegially with faculty in all disciplines. The coordinator will oversee course-related instruction, credit-bearing courses and other venues for library instruction. The Coordinator of Library Instruction will supervise information literacy librarians and work closely with the Coordinator of Reference Services to balance workload and scheduling.

The coordinator will teach in course-related instruction sessions, credit-bearing courses, and will organize and participate in other venues to promote information literacy across campus. The coordinator will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data, assessing student learning outcomes, evaluating effectiveness of the information literacy program and reporting analyses.
