New York City – June 23, 2011 – IGI Global, an international publishing company specializing in applied research publications on all aspects of information technology management, is pleased to announce the recent enhancements made to InfoSci®-Dictionary, the premier research tool for accessing the latest terms and definitions related to all aspects of information science and technology. Based on feedback from users, IGI Global added the following set of enhancements to InfoSci®-Dictionary this week:

 ·         a relevancy rating system that employs a full-text search of term definitions to generate a percentage of term relevance, enabling the user to sort term/definition results based upon relevance rating;

·         an integration mechanism that allows owners of other IGI Global databases to limit searches to include only terms that are available within books/journals that are owned by their institution and to directly access the content that is owned by their institution from the term/definition results;

·         a full-text search option that allows the user to not only search for terms, but to also perform a full-text search within the term definitions.
