The LAUNC-CH Conference Committee invites you to submit a proposal for the 2011 LAUNC-CH Conference, to be held on March 7th, 2011. This year’s conference theme is Staying Vital in a Time of Change. The Conference Committee is calling for presentations that examine the changing nature of the library as an institution and of librarianship as a profession, with an emphasis on practices and strategies that strive to keep the institution and the profession a vital and vibrant contributor to education, research and the community. If you have a topic you would like to present, please complete the proposal form by October 25th, 2010. The LAUNC-CH Conference Committee will make the selections and acceptances will be announced on November 19, 2010.
Leah was appointed Executive Director of the Charleston Conference in 2017, and has served in various roles with the Charleston Information Group, LLC, since 2004. Prior to working for the conference, she was Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for the College of Charleston for four years. She lives in a small town near Columbia, SC, with her husband and two kids where they raise a menagerie of farm animals.
