New Editor for LIS Book Series Advances in Librarianship

Dr. Anne Woodsworth has recently been appointed Editor of Advances in Librarianship. Published by Emerald Group Publishing Limited, Advances in Librarianship has a long-standing reputation for in-depth reviews of major issues facing librarians and information professionals.

Dr Woodsworth was Dean of the School of Information and Library Science, Pratt Institute, and of the Palmer School of Library and Information Science, Long Island University, before becoming a consultant. She comments: “I’m delighted to become Editor and I am looking forward to being able to sustain and enhance the quality of Advances in Librarianship in the future by working with noted scholars and researchers as well as a strong Editorial Advisory Board.”

Advances in Librarianship is available electronically through the Online Library and Information Studies Collection and through the Business, Management and Economics eBook Series Collection.
