 Reference Material
So Many Choices, So Little Money: Librarians and Publishers Speak Out! By Frances Wilkinson. The book and serials industry has recently witnessed a proliferation of reference materials. At a time when reference and collection development librarians have many more choices than ever before, they also have less buying power than ever before! To address these issues, and interview-style joint discussion among librarians responsible for reference selection and publishers/editors of reference materials was held. Their differing perspectives were highly significant because of what they reveal about the industry as a whole.
