Against the Grain (ISSN: 1043-2094) is your key to the latest news about libraries, publishers, book jobbers, and subscription agents. It is a unique collection of reports on the issues, literature, and people that impact the world of books and journals. ATG is published on paper six times a year, in February, April, June, September, and November and December/January.
Against the Grain News Channel is primarily intended to be a collaborative resource for subscribers to the journal or attendees to the
Charleston Conference. In reality, just any book aficionado is welcome to join this community! We are continuously trading ideas and adding new content to this site.
This site is a
work in progress, and due to its collaborative nature we intend it to always stay that way! We are slowly distributing usernames for all our print subscribers; if you are interested in getting a username please get in touch with the
site administrator.
Thanks to all those who attended the 2008 Charleston Conference! Please visit the
Conference page to view PowerPoint presentations and more.
