ATG Quirkies: “I was kidnapped”: best excuses for not returning library books on time.

In this post on the BOOKRIOT website, Romeo Rosales, Jr. says that being a librarian is “the most rewarding career I could imagine” and notes that one of the key reasons is that “most patrons are so genuinely thankful for the assistance their librarians provide.” However, he also admits there are a couple of things that some patrons really don’t appreciate. “They hate racking up fines and hate it even more when they have to pay those fines.” In fact, Mr. Rosales Jr. says that some find it so unappealing, they come up with some pretty creative excuses to avoid anteing up, which he then proceeds to lightheartedly share.

(Thanks to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies)
