The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) has adopted revised definitions for the FY 2016–2017 Academic Libraries Component as as result of public review comments and recommendations made by a joint Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and Association of College & Research Libraries, American Library Association (ACRL, ALA) task force in 2016. The task force is offering a free webinar to discuss these changes on Thursday, July 28, 2016, 1:00–2:30 p.m. eastern daylight time.

At this year’s SSP Annual Meeting, boundaries were stretched, ideas were challenged, and borders were crossed. If you weren’t able to attend or could not make it to all the sessions you would have liked to; not to worry. All of the sessions including keynotes, plenaries, and concurrent sessions, were recorded and are now available in the SSP Library. The SSP Library is open to the public, so please feel free to share this content with your colleagues, customers, and anyone interested in scholarly communication.
