ATG Quirkies: In Memoriam: Take a Walk With Umberto Eco Through His House/Library

name of the roseThe world lost a highly respected literary figure a couple of weeks ago with the death of Umbecto Eco. But thanks to the miracle of YouTube you can still follow him as he strolls through his incredible personal library in search of just the right reference.

Most will remember him as the author “who intrigued, puzzled and delighted readers worldwide with his best-selling medieval thriller, The Name of the Rose”  but he was far more than that. An influential novelist, scholar, and critic, he helped bring Italian literature to a worldwide audience.

(Thanks, as always, to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies!)
