Supervisors appointed Skye Patrick to serve as librarian for the sprawling county library system…
Patrick’s appointment is effective Feb. 1, according to county documents, and her salary is set at $225,000 a year. For almost three years Patrick has been director of the Broward County Libraries Division in Florida, “where she has received multiple state and national awards for leading information projects that exhibit excellence in communications,” according to county documents…”
According to Library Technology Guides “in a move that will add considerable experience and expertise to its marketing department, EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has hired Faye LaCasse as the Director of Product Marketing. She will oversee marketing efforts for several product lines including e-books, subscriptions and Flipster digital magazines.
LaCasse spent more than 10 years at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where she was a two-time recipient of the Houghton Mifflin Strategic Achievement Award, before moving to Pearson North America. In 10 years at Pearson, she held several positions, including the most recent position of the Director of Marketing, US Learning Services, and earned the Integrated Marketing Services Applause Award in Innovation.
