Davidson, a 2009–2010 ARL Research Library Leadership Fellow, has served as associate university librarian for collections at York since 2004. She is serving as interim while a search is conducted to replace Cynthia Archer, who retired July 1, after 13 years as university librarian at York. ARL News also notes that “Emerald Group Publishing has selected “Developing a Values Scorecard” by University of York (UK) Library’s Stephen Town and ARL’s Martha Kyrillidou as the Outstanding Paper of 2014 for the Performance Measurement and Metrics journal. In the paper, Town and Kyrillidou propose a value scorecard that can be used alongside the balanced scorecard to draw a more value-oriented picture of library strengths and impact. Emerald presented the award to Town and Kyrillidou at the Library Assessment Conference in Seattle today, August 5, 2014.
