ATG Quirkies: Now there’s a 3-D desk top printer…. for when you run out of paper clips?

Printing_Press.jpg - Ehschnell at en.wikipedia (CC-BY-SA-3.0)If you’ve been dying to add the latest cutting edge tech to your home office you’ll be all smiles to learn that Solidoodle plans 3 new 3D printers, including its first consumer-oriented model. Evidently Solidoodle has released a “new plastic-framed 3D printer called the Solidoodle Press that “is meant to be easy enough for anyone to use.”  Of course this is “a common claim in the 3D printer space these days” and the competition is keen. But the company that actually does it may hit the jackpot and tap in to the huge home and small office market.
