• Penguin puts Phillips in to head Author Solutions

Penguin has moved Andrew Phillips over to become c.e.o. of self-publishing business Author Solutions.

Phillips, who has worked for the Penguin Group for over 10 years, currently as president of Delhi-based Penguin International, will succeed current c.e.o. Kevin Weiss. Weiss is to take up a new position to be announced separately next week.

 Berndt Dugall elected to OCLC Board of Trustees by Global Council

“OCLC Global Council has elected Berndt Dugall, Direktor/Librarian at Universität Frankfurt’s Universitätsbibliothek Johann Senckenberg, Universität Frankfurt, Germany, to the OCLC Board of Trustees.

Mr. Dugall has served the OCLC membership since 2004 in a variety of Global Council roles, most recently as President (2011–2012) and Vice President (2010–2011).
