Penguin has moved Andrew Phillips over to become c.e.o. of self-publishing business Author Solutions.
Phillips, who has worked for the Penguin Group for over 10 years, currently as president of Delhi-based Penguin International, will succeed current c.e.o. Kevin Weiss. Weiss is to take up a new position to be announced separately next week.
Berndt Dugall elected to OCLC Board of Trustees by Global Council
“OCLC Global Council has elected Berndt Dugall, Direktor/Librarian at Universität Frankfurt’s Universitätsbibliothek Johann Senckenberg, Universität Frankfurt, Germany, to the OCLC Board of Trustees.
Mr. Dugall has served the OCLC membership since 2004 in a variety of Global Council roles, most recently as President (2011–2012) and Vice President (2010–2011). As Global Council Past President, he will continue to serve on the Global Council Executive Committee through June 2013. He was also Chair of the very first EMEA Regional Council…”
