NASIG 2013 Award Winners Announced

The NASIG Awards & Recognition committee has announced the winners of the 2013 NASIG awards. The Horizon Award was sponsored by EBSCO this year and Taylor & Francis sponsored the UKSG Merriman award winner’s attendance at NASIG.  THe award winners are:

“Jidong Yang has been appointed the new head of the East Asia Library at Stanford University, effective May 2013. Yang is currently the head of the Asia Library at the University of Michigan…”

On March 13th LJ released their annual list of “People Shaping the Futures of Libraries” including current change agents, innovators, marketers, advocates, community builders and tech leaders. Over fifty librarians and library supporters made this year’s list.
