Capture the Value of your Library – Photo Contest from SAGE
Show us how valuable your library is for a chance to win a travel grant to the 2013 Charleston Conference or one of five $50 Amazon gift cards
As librarians and information professionals, you make valuable contributions to your library on a daily basis. At SAGE, we would like to give you the opportunity to showcase your efforts and would even like to reward you for it. From now until September 14 at 11:59pm PST, we are asking librarians in the US and Canada to submit their best (original) photograph that illustrates why their library has value. These can be photographs of you at work, of your favorite library scene, or of anything that represents your valuable work. We will be judging the photos based on quality of the photo entry, creativity, and its ability to illustrate the value of your library.
Here are the prizes:
- 1 first-place winner will receive a voucher for registration at the 2013 Charleston Conference as well as $500 for travel related expenses to attend the 2013 Charleston Conference.
- 5 second-place winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift cards to purchase book(s) of their choice.
- All 6 winners will have their entry photographs featured in the 2012 Charleston Conference’s photo-desk calendar which will be given to all conference attendees.
