Assistant Director for Instructional Services at the University of South Florida
The University of South Florida Libraries, Tampa, seeks an energetic, experienced leader in library instruction to expand and develop the Tampa Libraries’ instructional program in collaboration with a team of teaching librarians. The ideal candidate is experienced in developing and assessing academic library instruction online and in the classroom, is committed to the librarian’s teaching role in the university, and collaborates well in a diverse team environment. The Library is looking for an individual who seeks opportunities to build upon an existing instruction program and to assess its impact on student success. The responsibilities for this position are inspired by the ACRL Standards for Proficiencies for Instruction Librarians and Coordinators (2008). This position supervises a new Library faculty position, Instructional Technologist/Blended Librarian, and reports to the Director of Academic Services.
