Wiley-Blackwell to Expand Publishing Relationship with the British Educational Research Association

Princeton Univ Press Launches WildGuides Imprint

“Princeton University Press has acquired backlist rights to a line of books it has been co-publishing for years called the WildGuides. The line, which has been released by a U.K.-based non-profit of the same name, features books about wildlife conservation. Through the deal PUP gets the WildGuides backlist, and also have the option to publish all new WildGuides titles, in the U.S. and the U.K., through its newly established Princeton WildGuides imprint…”

Harry Potter eBooks to be distributed to Public and School Libraries through OverDrive

Pottermore, the online experience and home of the Harry Potter eBooks created by J.K. Rowling has come to an exclusive agreement with Overdrive to distribute  eBooks and digital audiobooks to public and school libraries worldwide.  According to the Overdrive press release, the company “will manage hosting and digital fulfillment for libraries for the Harry Potter collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks in English and more than 20 other languages to OverDrive’s growing network of over 18,000 public and school libraries worldwide.”
