Mystery book sculpture artist blazes a trail with amazing gifts
Perhaps one of the biggest mystery of this past summer in the UK was “an anonymous artist … delighting Edinburgh’s literary scene by leaving a series of intricate book sculptures on the doorsteps of various local institutes and art groups that support literature.” The sculptor has remained anonymous but his/her book sculptures “are usually left in quiet areas with nothing more than an unsigned “thank you” note attached, patiently waiting to catch the attention of unsuspecting staff.” There were at least “seven of these remarkable gifts from the anonymous book sculpture artist.” This delightful article offers a sculpture by sculpture rundown with a number of very cool photos. These book sculptures are nothing short of amazing.
