Details on the highly anticipated Project MUSE Book Collections are now available. Going live on January 1, 2012, the collections will feature over 14,000 electronic titles from 66 respected university press and scholarly publishers. Copyright Clearance Center (www.Copyright.com) has launched a tool to help publishers monetize mobile content. The in-app licensing toolkit for RightsLink Plus (http://www.copyright.com/content/cc3/en/toolbar/productsAndSolutions/rightslink.html) and Premium-enabled Publishers allows publishers to add a licensing option to their iPad or iPhone apps. Through the feature, a publisher’s customers can conduct licensing transactions directly on the app. The American College of Chest Physicians is the first to implement this tool onto their app for their CHEST journal.
