The Jouve Group Announces the Appointment of Robert O’Dell to the Post of President and General Manager, Jouve North America
Paris, July 4th 2011 – Robert O’Dell has been appointed as the President and General Manager of Jouve North America. In this role, Rob will lead Jouve’s operations in North America, consolidating Jouve’s position as a long-time leader in editorial and publishing services as well as eBook conversion. Jouve is also one of the forerunners in print and digital multimedia content design and creation.
Rob comes to Jouve after more than five years at SPi, bringing with him his considerable business and management experience in the digital content market. Operating from Jouve North America’s New York City base, he will work to help the Jouve Group to continue to offer its customers flexible, integrated production and distribution of their content, with dedicated US customer service.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Bowling Green State University, and then continued his studies at the University of Dayton School Of Law where he gained his Juris Doctor degree. Prior to joining SPi, Rob spent twenty-two years at LexisNexis in various roles in operations, product development, post-acquisition integrations and program offices. In his last role at LexisNexis, Rob was the Vice President, Global Data Fabrication where he was responsible for the maintenance and updating of the LexisNexis online databases.
Having joined SPi in 2005, Rob served as the Publishing Senior Vice President of Global Operations (2005 – 2008) and in 2009 he was promoted to the post of President of Publishing. In his roles at SPi Rob was responsible for improving productivity and profitability of operations. He also led business development and executive global account management for key customers.
At Jouve North America, Rob will work as part of the Jouve Group’s global network, delivering both traditional and XML-based composition and editorial services, performed domestically and offshore.
