Come to the Chicago to hear how libraries around the world are creatively sharing their resources to cope with shrinking library
budgets, skyrocketing collection costs, and increasingly restrictive copyright laws. Learn from over 25 international experts about the latest developments in interlibrary loan: new technologies, recent cost studies, sharing digital resources, and strategies for improving transborder interlending. Speakers will describe many cutting-edge projects, from cooperative collection development ventures to shared storage facilities to purchase-on-demand programs.
