LYRASIS Lines Up Technology Experts for Ideas & Insights Series.
Atlanta, GA, — July 12, 2011 — LYRASIS has finalized the featured speakers for the Technology Ideas & Insights Series. This set of onsite, in-person sessions, scheduled throughout the LYRASIS region, is focused on leveraging technology to position libraries in the mobile ecosystem, with emphasis on content and delivery. It is a continuation of the larger Ideas & Insights Series, first introduced in 2010, and has featured sessions on topics including library collections, cataloging and resource sharing. Technology is an increasingly critical component of library operations and services to patrons, and an area in which LYRASIS is highly focused, as evident by our new LYRASIS Technology Services.
The speakers are well-known librarian and information professionals from many of the LYRASIS regions with expertise and experience in different aspects of technology as it relates to the library community.
