Kurt Vonnegut gets the boot in a Missouri school
From The Christian Science Monitor, July 28, 2011:
“A high school in Republic, Mo. bans two books, including Kurt Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse Five,” after a parent complains about material incompatible with the Bible.” Slaughterhouse Five is being removed from the curriculum while Sarah Ockler’s Twenty Boy Summer, is being removed from the library due to the same complaint.
