Omaha Public Library (NE) Selects Millennium and Encore

Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that Omaha Public Library, the largest public library in Nebraska, has selected the Millennium ILS and Encore Synergy for a complete library management solution. A member of the Urban Libraries Council, the Library serves the City of Omaha through its 12 branch locations.

Omaha Public Library shares its system with the Ralston Baright Public Library and Metropolitan Community College. The Library chose the fully-integrated Millennium ILS to handle large transactions and provide features to accommodate all three different library systems.

Looking to improve their patron’s online library experience, Encore Synergy will provide Omaha Public Library with discovery that brings the whole library—books, articles, digital resources, and more—to users with a single search.

“The Millennium ILS will bring about many exciting new changes. It will really help us move forward with a more robust and easy-to-use system to help our customers find materials,” said Gary Wasdin, Omaha Public Library Executive Director.
