Born and Lived: Born in Charleston South Carolina. I lived in Charleston until moving to Fort Myers, Florida eight years ago.
Professional Career and Activities: I worked as a Media Specialist Assistant for Charleston County School District for eight years before moving to Fort Myers, Florida. I have worked for Edison State College for six years as an acquisitions clerk and was promoted to Librarian upon completing my MLS last January.
Family: I am married with two grown daughters and two grandpets.
In My Spare Time: I love to read, garden and do community service.
Favorite Books: Anything by Catherine Cookson, children and young adult literature
Pet Peeves: Nasty houses
Philosophy: Always keep your emotions in check.
Most Memorable Career Achievement: Earning my Masters in Library Science and becoming a faculty member at Edison State College.
Goal I Hope To Achieve Five Years from Now: A doctorate in Curriculum Development
How/Where Do I See the Industry in Five Years?: More hands on interaction assisting patrons with accessing electronic resources and navigating technical issues.
