Publishing Technology Expands Internatio​nal Team With New Appointmen​t

London, 16th May 2011 – Publishing Technology plc (LSE: PTO), the largest provider of software and services to the publishing industry, today announced the appointment of Michael Groth as the company’s new Senior Marketing Associate.Publishing Technology, which services eight out of ten of the world’s largest publishers, employs 170 members of staff around the globe and this latest high profile appointment is another positive indication of the company’s growth and ambition.
 
Michael joins Publishing Technology from the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), where he held the post of Marketing Project Manager and was responsible for reaching out to the pharmaceutical industry with fresh and innovative campaigns. During this time he was instrumental to NEJM winning the MedAdNews Outstanding Advertising Award and helped increase traffic to the NEJMadsales.org website by 400%. Previous relevant experience includes Marketing and Product Manager roles at Northeastern University Press and Kluwer Academic Publishers, respectively.
