Annals of Internal Medicine Adds Tools
Annals of Internal Medicine, published by the American College of Physicians (ACP), announces new authentication, digital preservation, mobile access tools, and author reports.
ATHENS AND SHIBBOLETH AUTHENTICATION
Athens authentication is now available to Annals site license subscribers who are Athens organizations. We are in the process of allocating the journal to Athens organizations with site-license subscriptions. If you would like more information on becoming an Athens organization, please contact help@eduserv.org.uk. For information on the Annals of Internal Medicine, contact sitelicense@acponline.org.
Libraries can now use Shibboleth authentication for the Annals of Internal Medicine if they have a site license subscription. If you would like more information on joining a Shibboleth federation, visit http://shibboleth.internet2.edu.
LOCKSS FOR DIGITAL PRESERVATION
Site license subscribers to the Annals of Internal Medicine may perpetually use the LOCKSS system to archive and restore the Licensed Materials. For more information on LOCKSS, visit http://lockss.stanford.edu.
MOBILE ACCESS TOOLS
Annals of Internal Medicine now has a mobile website (http://m.annals.org).
Users with mobile devices will automatically be redirected to the mobile website when accessing the journal. Readers can also download the free Annals of IM app on Itunes.
