Electronic Resources Management Librarian Position at U. Conn.
The University of Connecticut Libraries seeks to provide users with access to intellectual content that fulfills their academic and research needs and to collections that support the University’s teaching, learning, research and public engagement activities. The University Libraries seek an energetic, user-centered, collaborative, service-oriented and forward thinking Electronic Resources Management Librarian to provide creative leadership for developing and implementing a complement of electronic resources that supports the University’s evolving research structures and academic programs.
Under the direction of the Acquisitions, Financial Services and Statistics Team Leader, this position is responsible for the overall management of the University Libraries’ electronic collections and resources, for coordinating acquisition, licensing, evaluation, problem solving and renewal activities, for working with library staff across teams to communicate product and vendor information and to resolve issues related to resource access, interlibrary loan, course reserves, licensing and marketing.
