IGI Global Announces Excellence in Academic Librarianship Award

IGI Global, an international publishing company specializing in high-quality research publications on all aspects of information technology management, is proud to announce its Excellence in Academic Librarianship Award, which will sponsor one librarian’s attendance of ALA’s upcoming 2011 Midwinter Meeting in San Diego, CA, with a $500 stipend. The meeting will be held from January 7 to January 11, 2011.

To apply for the Excellence in Academic Librarianship Award, we ask librarians to submit a 250-word essay describing how their attendance of ALA will help them make cutting-edge research materials and other library services more accessible to students and faculty.

All interested librarians must submit their application by December 10, 2010 to be considered for the Award.
