HARRASSOWITZ Announces Charleston Conference Scholarship

In honor of the Thirtieth Annual Charleston Conference, HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship to attend the 2010 XXX Annual Charleston Conference.

Applicants are asked to write an essay of no more than 1000 words on the topic: “Libraries and Vendors: Working together to survive tough economic times”

Essays should be sent to scholarship@harrassowitz.de by September 24, 2010. HARRASSOWITZ will notify the winner of the scholarship on October 12, 2010.

  • Applicants must currently work as a librarian or a para-professional and provide a brief resume.
  • The Scholarship award must be used to attend the 2010 XXX Annual Charleston Conference.
  • All applications will be acknowledged and reviewed by a panel of librarians.
  • All applicants will be notified of the results.
