I have one—the wireless model. So far, I’m a fan! Why do you ask?
Great. Want to know your experience and whether or not the experience is worth the money. Tell us what you think! Katina
I preordered a wireless iPad so I’ve had it since day one. I wanted an easier e-reading device – I’ve been an ipod touch user since early in that product cycle and wanted the same experience with a larger screen.
I keep finding more and more useful ways to use it – latest is an app that lets me stream .avi movies off my mac mini without doing any conversion.
If you use a computer for news, entertainment, mail, bills, investments, and many social relationships, then the ipad is a welcome addition to your life.
I have one and love it! The screen and app a are so cool. Love to read my email on it.y
I am jealous! I want an ipad. But why doesn’t it have a USB port and a microsoft office app?
Stuff like that is probably coming soon. If you haven’t tried the iPad yet – find one and play with it – it’s great but isn’t perfect yet!
Hi Everyone! I just came across this and figured I would share some of what I know!
There is an app called “iWork” that has a very small fee that will allow you to utilize Microsoft Office type functionality. In addition there are other apps that allow for file sharing between PC’s, iPhones, Mac’s, and iPads such as DropBox.
I think overall the iPad is a great device and works really good for mobile computing. The interface and functionality of it is very user friendly and from my experience increases mobile productivity. Just keep in mind it is not a laptop so depending on the type of processing you are looking to do could drive your decision in purchasing one or not.
Cheers,
Sujay
