Launch of SPIE eBooks, open-access Reviews journal

SPIE is announcing two new publications developments:L

SPIE eBooks have moved out of beta development into full launch on the SPIE Digital Library. The launch includes 120 SPIE Press titles from the Field Guides, Monographs, and Tutorial Texts series. Over the course of 2010 at least 15 new titles and editions will be added to the SPIE eBooks collection, followed by print publication.

SPIE Reviews, a new open-access journal published by SPIE, has launched on the SPIE Digital Library. The journal is edited by William T. Rhodes, professor of electrical engineering and associate director of the Imaging Technology Center at Florida Atlantic University, and emeritus professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
