In 2010, Routledge will become the publisher of the South African Geographical Journal (SAGJ). Established in 1917, SAGJ publishes original research addressing the gamut of the discipline. The journal is unique, using southern Africa as a region from, and through, which to communicate geographic knowledge yet consistently engaging with issues and themes at the forefront of international geographic enquiry.
One of Africa’s oldest and most well-respected journals, SAGJ is esteemed by geographers around the world for the breadth and quality of its scholarship. The journal has been accepted for inclusion in the Social Sciences Citation Index® and in 2010 will receive its first impact factor.
