LYRASIS Issues RFP for Virginia's Statewide Electronic Resources

LYRASIS has issued an RFP (Request for Proposal) on behalf of the Library of Virginia for Find It Virginia, a cooperative project of the Library of Virginia and Virginia’s public libraries, designed to promote and support public access computing and quality information resources in all Virginia public libraries.

The Find It Virginia website (www.finditva.com) provides public library card holders an entry point to electronic resources subscribed to by the Library of Virginia. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified sources to establish a contract through competitive negotiations to provide unlimited simultaneous user statewide access to electronic full text databases covering current and general interest periodical literature and educational content appropriate for K-6 levels.

LYRASIS is providing comprehensive RFP services, including research; writing and issuing the RFP; communicating with vendors; and assistance with evaluation of responses, negotiation, and contract award.
