RERO, the Library Network of Western Switzerland, has agreed to contribute more than 4.8 million records for mainly French-, English- and German-language materials to WorldCat, and OCLC will provide import capabilities for cooperative cataloging for RERO libraries along with increased visibility of the libraries’ collections on the Web.
The agreement is effective January 1, 2010 and RERO records will be added in the first half of 2010.
