The case of the broken right ankle

For Thanksgiving, I gave myself a wonderful present! A broken right ankle, a visit to the hospital, an operation, and a long recuperation period! Will wonders never cease!? Seriously, the good news is that I can get to my computer. The bad news is that I didn’t eat much turkey (or maybe that’s good news for my waistline).  I am just happy that this happened after the Charleston Conference! It happened like this — I was trying to take my poor 14-year-old Jack Russell down the steps (she will not climb the steps anymore) and the steps had just been cleaned off and so were wet! Slip! I did. Oh well. A lot of time to read and send emails. Hope y’all all had a great  holiday!
