New Partnership between Routledge Journals and UNISA Press – Education as Change
Routledge Journals and UNISA Press are pleased to announce a noteworthy addition to their successful co-publishing partnership as from 2009, Education as Change joined the list of participating journals.
Education as Change is a significant addition to the publishing partnership, as it was founded at the University of Johannesburg in 1998 at a time when the South African educational reform process needed a publication that would reflect the many changes envisaged by radical policy initiatives and act as a vital forum for the critical interpretations of these reform efforts. Since then the Journal’s direction has progressed to comment on the advancement of theoretical knowledge about education practice, and this adaptation reflects the constantly changing environment of school classrooms and communities.
Since joining the Routledge and UNISA Press publishing partnership, Education as Change has been accepted for coverage in the Thomson Reuters Social Sciences Citation Index © (SSCI) and will receive its first impact factor in 2010.
